There’s a reason couples are drawn to a Redwoods elopement. And I don’t blame them.
Eloping in the Redwoods brings a magical quality to your wedding day. These towering giants standing sentinel as you say your vows feel like they’re alive and witnessing your ceremony themselves. And how many people can say they said, “I Do” next to a being that was around at the time of Christ?
Allison, Brooks and I had been dreaming of this day since they reached out to me a year ago; they came to Oregon for their engagement photos and returned to the west coast once more to say “I Do” among towering giants.
Their Redwood wedding afternoon was full of connection, chill vibes, a little champagne, and some perfect lighting. The Redwood groves were really putting on a show for Allison and Brooks. We bonded over George Strait and our love of the outdoors. A few times, I caught them looking longingly at each other during the car ride between the ceremony and portraits. The connection was so present that it was tangible.
This may be my favorite Redwood wedding light to date.
