Taylor and Andrew had a small wedding on the Oregon beach back in September, but things didn’t go according to plan – so they had a do-over with a gorgeous elopement!
We all made our way down to the California Coastal Redwoods to recreate their perfect intimate wedding (Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, to be exact). It is possibly one of my favorite places in the world, and I was so excited to capture the love between Andrew and Taylor.
We all ate lunch together (my treat) before the festivities at a Crescent City restaurant. After a quick ceremony in a Redwood grove, we took a short walk, then headed to False Klamath Cove (you’ve passed by the turnout if you’ve ever been to The Trees Of Mystery – yep, that place with Paul Bunyan and his blue ox Babe). Taylor changed outfits and they explored the beach (and water) together. Taylor couldn’t get enough of the water and drug Andrew in with her! Both were soaking wet by the time the day ended. Is this a perfect way to spend your wedding day? I think it’s definitely in the running.
